<p>The harvester picks plants such as beans and delivers them in swaths for subsequent threshing, having a wheeled chassis hitched to a tractor. It comprises a shaker (22), cleaning the plants of stones and earth, and depositing them in a swath. The shaker comprises one or more drums with radial tines mounted transversely at the rear of the chassis and engine-driven, together with blades sloping from the ground, towards the drum, to deliver the plant stems to the tines. These shake them and discharge them rearward.</p> |
