Boat support and lifting device - having vertical rotating discs on either side of the hull fitted with perpendicular aerofoil planes

The boat is fitted with equal numbers of discs (11) on either side of the hull and along a cross axis (26) at right angles to the centre line of the boat. Each disc makes an angle with the centre line of the boat. The centre of the disc is above the water line. Each disc has a flat side and a spheroidal side and is fitted with aerofoil fins near the outer edge of the flat side. As the discs revolve the hull is lifted from the water.
