<p>A space heating panel incorporating a core of rigid foam and a cover made of layers of resin reinforced by one or more layers of glass fibre cloth or mat is heated by an electrical resistance element made of a mesh or fabric of suitable conductivity with interstices large enough to be readily traversed by the resin used for the covers. The composite structure has better integrity than panels in which the heating element is a continuous film. Claimed for panels having cores of and/or coatings impregnated with phenolic or polyester resin, esp. for panels having covers of type described in FR70/27047 and the addn. 71/01277.</p> |
