<p>The rotary compressor has an oval-shaped rotor (22) between two side faces (16), inside the cylinder (7) and is keyed to a shaft (18). At its upper end, the rotor has a curved bar seal (9). This bar also passes a valve flap (3) and is lifted by a cam (10) to prevent contact. The valve flap oscillates about a spindle (5) and is maintained against the rotor by springs (1). The compressed air or gas exhaust (12) and the intake (15) is on the opposite side. Seals are provided for the various parts (13,14,17) and a damper is fitted to the oscillating valve flap.</p> |
