The desk enables two persons to work in alternative positions. In plan, the desk is approximately S shaped with two wells forming two seating positions, formed by two working surfaces (6,7) projecting at right angles from opposite sides of a main common working surface (3). This main surface consists of a rectangular panel supported above the central region (8) of a lower panel, the space (9) between forming a storage compartment. The lower panel has two extensions which form the two other working surfaces. The upper panel is supported by an S shaped spacing strip (2) so that the storage space is divided into two sections, facing opposite directions, The legs are formed by two simple frames of the same shape.
