The exhaust recirculation system is intended for a combustion engine (10) comprising a fuel injection pump (13), an air inlet manifold (12) and an exhaust manifold (17). The recirculation connection (18,21,23,15) contains a flow control valve (22) which responds to a signal generated as a function of the amount of fuel injected and the engine speed. This composite signal is pref. continuously supplied to the positioner of the valve. The positioner may be pressure (pref. vacuum)-actuated, the pressure being determined by the position of the injection pump control lever (16) and the engine speed, which latter may be derived as a pressure signal from the pump (13). |
