PURPOSE:An acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber is combined with a specific liquid polymer and an antiaging agent and they are vulcanized with sulfur to prevent the hardening-type deterioration caused by rancidified gasoline without damages to heat resistance, gasoline resistance and cold resistance. CONSTITUTION:Said composition comprises (A) 50-95pts.wt. of copolymer rubber composed of 20-80wt% of butadiene and/or isoprene, 10-50wt% of acrylonitrile, and 0-60wt% of alpha,beta-monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or its ester, (B) 5-50pts. of a liquid polymer of a number-average molecular weight of 500-10,000 composed of 30-80wt% of butadiene and/or isoprene, 10-50wt% of acrylonitrile and 0.1-20wt% of alpha,beta-monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, (C) a sulfur vulcanizer and (D) a p-phenylenediamine antiaging agent with a solubility of less than 1g/100ml of n-hexane at 20 deg.C, preferably by 1-10pts. per 100pts. of the total of A and B. |
