The pot-shaped housing is intended for retaining h.f. components, and has an open side closed by a flat lid, releasably secured to the housing by a screw connection. The housing body (10) is of rectangular or cubical cross-section, and its bottom wall (13) is fitted in its centre with a lug (14) with an inner thread, ending below the plane defined by the edge of the housing aperture. Into this inner thread (15) is screwed down a bolt (12), fitted through the lid (11) made of an elastic material. This screw connection is such that the inwards conically bending lid abuts the lug and fits the housing body edge matching the conical shape. The holding body and lid are pref. of a conductive metal or metallised material. The edge of the housing open side may have a U-shaped cross section, only the inner edge portion of each side wall forming the lid abutment.
