<p>The appliance is for the continuous removal of bulk goods from a dump. It consists of a bridge, moving on rails, and formed of two uprights with a connecting strut. A cutter works on the side of the dump. The cutter is positioned on a raisable support, which in turn is guided on the side uprights, below the intermediate strut. In the upper end position, support and cutter may be moved across the dump. One of the uprights is stationary, while the second one is formed as a rocking pillar. The support is guided on the stationary upright in a guide, which accommodates horizontal forces in transverse- and longitudinal direction of the dump. The guide on the rocking pillar accommodates horizontal forces only in the longitudinal direction.</p> |
