The arrangement is intended for a camshaft-driven fuel injection pump, particularly for a motor vehicle Diesel engine, in which the injection timing is varied by relative rotation of the camshaft. This is effected by altering the position of a disc (1) provided with two parallel slots (6,7) for the coupling elements driving the camshaft. The slots are provided in separate inserts (4,5) secured to the disc (1). The inserts may be of a hardenable material and may be in sintered iron. The parallel contact faces of the slots may be formed by bearing needles (12,13) which may be arranged in parallel grooves (10,11) in each insert.
