The post tube of a signpost etc. is detachably connected to the base plate by a retainer with two diametral tongue-and-groove joints. The base plate (10) has a solid bottom unit (14), of rectangular plan, with roof-shaped top. The individual surface sections (15,16) of this slope down to the bottom unit outside edge (15,16) almost or quite to the bottom (19). The wall pieces (22-25) contain grooves (28) and form a continuous channel (21) aligned centrally to the bottom unit longitudinal axis. In this manner an impact absorption in case of a collision is provided. |
