A door stopping device to be used in the field of security and protection whose purpose is to positively prevent entry or intrusion. The main components are, an outer tube (Figure 1) and inner tube (Figure 2) with a compression spring (Figure 3) housed within the outer tube (Figure 1). When a door stopping device is fitted to a door in the secure position and door is opened, pressure is applied directly to the inner tube (Figure 2) which will retract and move telescopically within the outer tube (Figure 1) until compression spring (Figure 3) is fully compressed. When pressure is released, spring (Figure 3) will decompress, pushing inner tube (Figure 2) forward and close door automatically. |
