发明名称 HEATPROOFING OF VESSEL FOR LOW TEMPERATURE MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To accomplish a heatproofing on the wall surface of a vessel for low temperature material, for example, a vessel for transporting a low temperature liquified gas such as LPG by heat welding of a heat resisting layer covering the intended wall surface of the vessel and a molded panel applied on the end rim of the area to be worked. CONSTITUTION:Heat insulating materials 5 of a molded panel 4 are thermally welded to each other while outer casings 6 are connected to each other by lock seaming or the like to form a heatproof panel necessary in the length and width enough to cover the working area, which is positioned at working places on the wall surface 2 of a vessel. On the other hand, a heatproof panel a' formed from a molded panel 4 is bonded at the end rim of the working area of the wall surface 2 of the vessel beforehand. The opposing rims of the heatproof panel a and the heatproof panel a' thermally adheres to each other while the opposing rims of the outer casings 5 are joined together by lock seaming or the like. Thus, the heatproof panel a is joined with the heatproof panel alone without use of any adhesive. Then, a fixing band 10 is mounted to prevent the heatproof panel a from coming off. This can reduce work at narrow places in ships and shorten the required working period along with a greater safety margin.
