A radial spacer ring (11) for coaxial tubes is made from segments (13,14). The segments, which are made of plastics, are provided with overlapping end forks so that they can be joined to form a ring, by axial pivot pins. Some of the spacer segments (13) are provided with external axial ridges (12). These ridges (12) provide a slide fit inside the outer coaxial tube.
