PURPOSE:To prevent effects from the outside by hermetically sealing a solar cell using an amorphous semiconductor as a base material into a transparent high- molecular film. CONSTITUTION:An element body 13 of a solar cell by which amorphous Si11 is deposited on a substrate 12 in stainless steel, etc. and an electrode is attached is held between a transparent film 14 in acryl resin, etc., the whole surface is coated fast sticking the film by means of rolls 15, and the film is united at end sections 16. A lead of the element body is drawn to the outside being closely contacted with the film 14. Effects from the outside can be prevented by using wetproof or climate resistive resin for the film 14. The high molecular film 14 can seal hermetically even when there is a warp in the element body 13 because the film abounds in flexibility; the characteristics of the element body 13 are not deteriorated due to stress because the film can sufficiently follow up expansion and contraction during use. |
