发明名称 LAMINATED PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to drive a laminated piezoelectric element by an integrated circuit while decreasing the input impedance of the piezoelectric element by stacking many piezoelectric elements of 5-100mum in thickness and by connecting respective layers electrically in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Many piezoelectric elements 1 of 5-100mum in thickness are stacked in a layer shape and internal electrodes and surface electrodes 2 of respective piezoelectric elements 1 are connected electrically by external electrode 3 in parallel. The mechanical strength is increased by increasing the overall thickness to facilitate its manufacture and the impedance between the electrodes of element and external electrode 3 is decreased by decreasing the input impedance of each piezoelectric element 1 and also by connecting them electrically in parallel to attain impedance matching with an integrated driving circuit, so that this can be driven direct by the integrated driving circuit. Additionally, the piezoelectric materials of piezoelectric elements 1 are so connected in parallel that their polarization directions is alternated.
