<p>The self-propelled road building machine has a feed conveyor system, comprising a longitudinal and a transverse conveyor for appropriate materials. The transverse conveyor unit has two or more cross plates (1a,1b) carrying out thrust movements aligned transversely to the machine length. These thrusts are pref. carried out in opposite directions. The plates, and the longitudinal conveyor, comprising at least one plate (2) may be coupled for drive, pref. with a coupling rod (6) at 45 deg. The arrangement requires min. maintenance, and can automatically supply materials sideways and to the rear in a continuous run.</p> |
