The object of the invention is to compose or construct Harlequin type patterns representing people, animals or inanimate things by utilizing a plurality of cards (20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 110, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170) having color zones (21, 31, 32, 41, 42, 51, 52, 61, 62, 63, 81, 82, 91, 92, 101, 102, 103, 111, 112, 113, 131, 132, 141, 142, 151, 152, 161, 162, 171, 172) wherein adjacent zones of like color are matched as to their color when cards abut or overlap. The zones have edges, and another aspect of the invention is to permit matching of abutting cards that have zones which may be of different colors but with matching edges of the same length. |
