TRANSFERRING OF LIQUID STORED IN TANK

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for attachment such as emergency pump by transferring liquid between two storage tanks by siphoning after a transfer pipe is given a priming by pressurizing the inside of a tank of higher liqid level. CONSTITUTION:A liquid pump 6 of a destination tank 2 is operated to empty while a space 1a of a destination tank 1 is pressurized with a gas compressor 5 whereby a priming is performed to move liquid in the tank 1 to a transfer pipe 3. After the end of the priming for the liquid transfer pipe 3, the liquid in the tank 1 can be transferred into the tank 2 on the siphon theory only if the liquid flows from the tip of the transfer pipe 3. When both tank 1 and 2 become the same in the liquid level, the liquid in the tank 2 is transferred to another tank. Thereafter the liquid is allowed to be transferred to the tank 2 from the tank 1 by siphoning again. Thus the transfer of liquid can be done easily without any emergency pump.
