<p>The strip is intended to form ribs on heat exchanger pipes, exposed to a first gaseous medium, while a second medium flows through the pipes. It has a number of connection points to the pipes in a row at right angles to the flow direction of the first medium and with two apertures for the latter between each pair of such points, from which guide fins for the first medium are bent out. Two further guide fins are formed between each pair of connection points (4), so as to give four in all (12,14) in pairs at opposite edges of the apertures (8,9). Those (12) adjacent to a connection point are as long, or longer, than those (14) between the apertures.</p> |
