The device for cleaning gramophone records and the stylus of the pick-up consists of a brush (6) at the end of a handle (7) for cleaning the stylus, which fits into a block (1) for wiping the record. The block has a cleaning pad (2) covered by a protective shell (3) underneath, and a slot (4) along the top into which fits the handle. The handle has a hollow interior which fits over a rib (9) projecting upwards inside the slot, to give the locking action for the handle. A cross rib (11) projecting downwards inside the handle fits into a depression (10) in the rib, a lug (15) at the rear fits into another depression (14) in the rib. A sloping cross partition (13) inside the handle locates against the sloping end surface (12) of the rib.
