<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the required number of molds with undulation in their kinds by a method wherein facing plates with undulation of arbitray depth are formed with the use of mold having undulation of the uniform depth by changing the number of substrate prepregs used for manufacturing the facing plates. CONSTITUTION:The required number of substrate prepregs are placed on a substrate and a piece of a pattern paper prepreg is placed thereon (if required, a piece of an overlay paper prepreg for a facing plate may be further placed thereon). Then, a mold with undulation is pressed upon the pattern paper prepreg to perform the heat and pressure molding. According to this method, the facing plate with more deep undulation can be obtained by using the increased number of the substrate prepregs, thereby eliminating the need to prepare a number of molds with undulations of different depth from one another.</p> |
