AIR FLOW FOR A COMBUSTOR BASKET

This application relates to a method of controlling air flow in the combustor basket region of a gas turbine. Compressed air is directed into the combustor baskets, of a gas turbine via a pair of conical shields. The conical shields ensure even air flow into the combustor baskets so that uneven heating or uneven cooling of the combustor basket is avoided.
