<p>A compact combination tool set providing a complete set of tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, knives, utensils or combinations of such devices is provided, The set comprises a pluralil of inter-fitting tool segments, each tool segment having a tool or connecting shank projecting from one end thereof and a recess at the other end thereof adapted to receive a tool or shank projecting from one end of a second tool segment, said recesses and said projecting tools including portions which are non-circular in cross-section and which are adapted to be telescopically and frictionally inter-engaged so as to prevent relative rotation thereof, whereby a plurality of tool selectively may be selectively inter-fitted for compact storage, and selectively separated for use. The tool segments in one embodiment have shanks which are of the same length and cross-section whereby tool segments of different sizes are selectively interengageable with each other or with an associated handle means.</p> |
