PURPOSE:To cool the DC power source by providing different cooling temperatures of the transformer and the base plate by providing a through hole for passing coolant to the base plate, cooling it and providing an insulating plate between the base plate and the box. CONSTITUTION:The transformer is contained in the box 4, a lead wire 5 is led to the base plate 6 insulated from a lead wire 4, and a semiconductor rectifier 7 is mounted exchangeably on the base plate 6. The opening 61 of the base plate is oiltightly closed by the insulating plate 62. The base plate 64 is oiltightly mounted outside of the insulating plate 62. Further, a plurality of cooling through holes 67 are opened in response to the number of the semiconductor rectifiers at the base plate 64, and coolant is flowed therethrough. Thus, the base plate 64 is thermally and electrically insulated from the transformer through the insulating plate 62 (in box 4), can be independently cooled, and the base plate can be economically cooled irrespective of the cooling of the transformer body. |
