PURPOSE:To attain invariably excellent reception without requiring in the plural number of receivers by switching and connecting an antenna having the maximum electric field intensity, to a receiver when electric field intensity from an antenna has fallen to a set level. CONSTITUTION:Receiver 4 sends a voltage signal, proportional to the reception intensity of a radio wave received by antenna 1, to switching signal sending circuit 5 via signal line 7. Circuit 5, while storing this voltage signal, compares this voltage signal with a preset threshold level and, when the former is less than the latter, sends a switching signal to signal line 8 and switching circuit 3 receives this switching signal to perform switching operation, thereby connecting antenna 2 to receiver 4. When both radio waves from antennas 1 and 2 are lower in reception intensity than the set threshold level, both reception intensity values are compared mutually to select and connect an antenna, having higher reception intensity, to receiver 4. |
