PURPOSE:To record receiving signal data continuously and surely, by adding the mark part indicating an artificial recording paper end before the mark part indicating the recording end previously and by detecting this added mark part by one photosensor and by displaying it with alarm when the artificial end is detected. CONSTITUTION:On recording paper 13 ed out from recording paper roll 11, record- ing paper end mark 13b and artificial end mark 13a before end mark 13b are added. End mark 13b and artificial end mark 13a of carried recording paper 13 are detected by one sensor 14, and the detection output is applied to mark detecting circuit 15, and a mark is detected according to difference of the reflection light quantity between the mark part and the nonmark part. When this artificial end mark 13a is detected during facsimile receiving the alarm signal is applied from circuit 15 to control device 16, and alarm is displayed on alarm display device 17. When end mark 13b is detected, the end of recording paper 13 is displayed on device 17 to stop the receiving operation after data recording. |
