<p>PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of carcass cords adjacent to a rim flange, by rolling bead wires of the tire having two or more carcass plies into the carcass ply and arranging a rubber reinforcement having a prescribed hardness onto the outer side of the outer carcass ply. CONSTITUTION:The carcass plies 1, 2 are arranged in a parallel and adhered state into a bead zone F adjacent to the rim flange R, the carcass ply 1 wraps the bead wires 3 from their inside to the outside, an end 1a of the carcass ply 1 is covered with the carcass ply 2, and the rigid rubber reinforcement 4 having a hardness of 85 deg. or more is arranged on the outside of the carcass ply 2 and extends from the bead approximately to the intermediate of the side wall such that the reinforcement 4 is not exposed to outside of the tire. Chafers 5 are sandwitch between a lower end 4a of the reinforcement 4 and the carcass ply 2. In this manner, breakage of the carcass cards adjacent to the rim flange can be prevented.</p> |
