PURPOSE:To improve response of ink amount control in accordance with an electric signal by a method wherein an air valve is provided near an air nozzle at an upper stream side thereof, which is forming an air stream to induce the ink out of an ink nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is introduced into a compressed air chamber 35 from a compressed air source through a compressed air supplying port 33 and is discharged to open air from an air nozzle 36 through an air valve 32. In ths case, the air valve 32 is provided neighboring to an air regulating nozzle 36 for inducing ink from an ink nozzle 38 by a negative pressure produced by a high speed air stream. Accordingly, the high speed air stream flowed out of the air valve 32 arrives at a tip end of the ink nozzle 39 quickly and induces the ink. A needle 40 for regulating a flow of the ink, a tip end of which is sharpened, is provided in a conduit 37. |
