PURPOSE:To reduce the number of pieces of light receiving elements, to upgrade resistance to electrical noise, and to make the noise less noticeable by providing a wide angle lens having a shape of an elliptic body of rotation on a light receiving surface on the top surface of a shielding case. CONSTITUTION:An optical wireless receiver as a satellite receiver consists of a piece of light receiving element 1 contained in the shielding case 2 only the light receiving surface 1a of which is exposed from the top surface of the case 2, and the wide angle lens 11 having an elliptic body of rotation disposed on the light receving surface 1a on the top surface of the case 2. The mounting piece extended from the lower side surface of the lens 11 is mounted on a print circuit board 12 on which the shelding case 2, etc., are mounted. The lens 11 refracts beams (a)-(c) whose incident angles phi0 are small as an ordinary lens does, but reflects beams (d) and (e) whose incident angles phi0 are large also in order to condense beams in a prescribed position. Since the one piece of light receiving element 1 can receives beams from 360 degrees of direction, the number of pieces can be decreased. |
