PURPOSE:To improve the bonding property of hollow lacing braid without hindering the reduction of its weight and the economization of its material and eliminating its protective effect, by providing longitudinal projections on the insides of the top and bottom of the hollow body of the lacing braid for ornamentation and protection of a vehicle or the like. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of longitudinal projections 5a, 6a are provided on the insides of the top 2 and bottom 3 of the hollow part 9 of hollow lacing braid 1a so that the projections 5a are located in the troughs 7 between the other projections 6a. The top 2 is thrusted to bond the lacing braid 1a on an object. At that time, the projections 5a come into contact with the trough sections 7 to push them and the other projections 6a also push other trough sections 7 on the inside of the top 2. For that reason, the thrusting force applied to the braid 1a is uniformly distributed to the entire surface of the bottom by walls 4 and the projections 5a, 6a. The adhesive power of a bonded layer is thus applied enough without hindering the reduction in the weight of the braid 1a and eliminating its protective effect. |
