PURPOSE:To make broad the range where an amplifier can normally be operated, by shifting the protective line determining the start of protective operation according to the frequencies. CONSTITUTION:A frequency response circuit B produces smaller output as the frequency component included in the output signal is higher. This output signal is detected and when it exceeds a given threshold value with a Schmitt circuit, it becomes a signal in ''H'' level and input to the logical sum E. That is, no ''H'' appears at the output, if the output amplitude is greater as the frequency is greater. A short-circuit detection circuit C outputs the signal of ''H'' level if the load has a short-circuit. The limit circuit G to the amplifier A can be operated, when the output of the frequency response circuit B is at ''H'' or the output of the short-circuit detection circuit C is at ''H'', and when the output of the ASO detection circuit D is at ''H''. |
