PURPOSE:To surely transmit large torque without causing play, by providing a permanent guide which is located in a housing so that the guide can be engaged with the peripheral part of the tip of a coupling member with which a provisional guide and an fitted member carrier are engaged. CONSTITUTION:When a differential gear is run to be broken in, a breaking-in machine is coupled to the side gear shaft 3 of the differential gear 1 through a coupling device. A fitted part 7 is provided in the center of the front of a flange 4 provided on the tip of the shaft 3. The carrying portion 26 of a fitted part carrier 25 can be engaged with the fitted part 7 of the flange 4, which is engaged with a provisional guide 30 during the middle-stage movement of a push-out member 15. An engaging part 32 is secured on the peripheral section of the front end of a housing 27, which is opposed to the provisional guide 30. A permanent guide 34 is supported by a pin 33 so that the guide 34 can be opened and closed. As a result, large torque can be transmitted without causing play. |
