摘要 The circuit arrangement has a high-voltage pulse generator (7) fed with a d.c. voltage of 100 to 300 V and a discharge section (3) connected in parallel with the outputs of the high-voltage pulse generator (7). The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the discharge section (3) is connected via its first pole (10) to a controlled current generator (2) and via its second pole (11) to a current source (1) connected in series with the controlled current generator (2) and supplying a d.c. voltage of 30 to 60 V. The circuit arrangement is only loaded with small energy dissipation and can therefore be of space-saving construction. Furthermore, a high rate of rise and fall of the pulses of the discharge current can be achieved. The circuit arrangement thereby guarantees a significant improvement in the machining conditions and the electrode wear by the maximum value of the discharge current being stabilised and by at the same time the run-off rate of the pulses of the discharge current being controlled as a function of the value of the discharge voltage. <IMAGE>
