The guide rails (4) for accepting and locating the individual printed circuit cards have ends formed to fit over or under transverse support rails (2) fixed to the housing framework. Each guide rail unit has projections at the end which, by sliding the guide at 90 degrees to the support rail, engage in holes (3) in the latter to give a location. When all the guides are thus located in position they are secured by a locking strip (7) which fits along one edge of the support rail. This locking strip can also be used as a guide to carry a bolting arrangement for locking printed circuit cards in position after insertion.
