PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of corona discharge and to miniaturize a molded transformer by forming coil resin layers and coil support legs in a unitary body wherein the coil support legs are directly installed to a clamp fittings for core. CONSTITUTION:Support legs 12, 13 located at the inside and the outside 2, 4 of a molded coil 1 are formed under coil resin layers 3, 5 as a unitarily cast body. Both upper and lower ends of the coil 1 thus formed are directly fixed to a clamp fittings 9 for core through fixing pins. In this way, coils 2 and 4 are fixed without interposing a cushion and the coil 1 and the support legs 12, 13 are not separated. Therefore, air is permitted to exist between the molded coil and the cushion and between the cushion and the coil support legs. Accordingly, no corona discharge will be generated. The space between the coils 2, 4 has no interposer except air. Therefore, electric field between main insulations is not affected by creeping or dust. Reliability is thereby made high and minituarization of the device becoms possible. |
