Thermoplastic tube extruder - with cloth nozzle and mandrel and annular gap for specified pressure drop

Extruder for the prodn. of tubes of thermoplastic materials consists of a nozzle and a mandrel, both curved and designed as bodies of revolution. The generating line of the mandrel is offset radially inward by the outlet gap width from that of the nozzle. In the longitudinal direction it is offset axially enough to form a disc-shaped annular gap of a width to produce a pressure drop of 50-90% of the total. Extruder is suitable for a wide range of tube dias. and ensures satisfactory flow conditions for these tubes with a fine structure.
