<p>The press consists of a working cylinder (1) and control valve cylinder (2), having an operating cylinder space (3) and piston (4) and a control cylinder space (5) and piston (6). The operating piston has a rod (7) which operates a connection (8) between the control cylinder space above the control piston and a tank connection (9). The annular cylinder space (12) surrounding the working ram (11) is connected with the cylinder space above the control piston by a throttle bore (15) in the control piston. The connection between the control space (5) and the tank connection is by a bore (8) controlled by the tip of a valve stem (7) of the operating piston.</p> |
