Throwaway baby wraps - with swelling material pad between cellulose flock webs coated with paper

An absorbent pad for hygienic purposes, e.g. for throw-away baby's wraps with an improved absorption capacity, includes at least one layer of a swelling material in addition to layers of plastic foil, fibre mat, cellulose flocks, tissue paper and/or crepe paper. The layer of swelling material is arranged loose as an interlayer between two pairs of cellulose flock webs. The pairs are joined to each other by seams of an adhesive. Tissue or crepe paper layers surround the cellulose flock layers on both sides. Napkin has enough absorption capacity to withstand several wettings during a night without exposing the baby to urine or stiffening the wrap.
