PURPOSE:To obtain a shielding gas for welding of the stable arc and less formation of blowholes by adding a specific amount of H2 to mixed gas suitably contg. Ar, He, O2 and CO2 and using such gases. CONSTITUTION:H2 of >=0.001%, <=10% is further added to mixed gases contg. at least two kinds out of Ar, He, O2 and CO2. The addition of H2 results in increased transmission characteristic of energy, increased amount of penetration, improved fluidity of molten metal and prevention of the production of blowholes through releasing of gas bubbles. |
