Centralised lock system with motorised components - esp. for automobile, having cam switch controlling motor current circuit

The locks are each operated or released via an electric motor with a control unit controlling the energisation and the direction of rotation of the motors. The control unit has a cam (23) moved by one of the electric motors (13) between two end positions as the lock (5) is operated or released. The cam (23) operates a switch (19) which disconnects the motor (13) when the cam (23) reaches its end oosition. A manual operating element (7,9) allows the cam (23) to be moved back in the opposite direction, its movement causing the motor (13) to be energised for rotation in the same direction. Pref. the lock (5) can be operated from outside the door etc by a key-operated lock cylinder and from inside the secured space by a knob (9) pushed-inwards or pulled-out.
