The heat exchanger is for heat transfer between different media flowing in two spaced containers. The heat exchanger has a heat tube passing through the cylinder walls, and a leakage indicator is fitted in the interspace between the two containers. The heat tube (9) is formed by a closed core tube and the refrigerant (8) and liquid containers (10) are formed by parts (14',14") of a centrally divided jacket tube (14), surrounding the core tube and connected with it. There are openings (15) for the two jacket pipe sections (14',14") near the middle (17).
