The cap for the outlet of a container has an outer thread fitted on the neck on to which a screw cap fits. The screw cap has on the inner surface of the cover section at least one sealing ring working together with the cap. This is made in one piece with the ring edge covering the container outlet edge and with the pot like holding section which fits into the container outlet. The pot like holding section is fitted with openings (13) which are slot like, parallel and equi-distant to each other. There is an annular bulge (15) on the inner surface at a distance from the upper edge (16). An inner ring (6) on the screw cap has a diameter smaller than the bore of the cap.
