The joystick-type control lever mechanism is designed for remote operation of equipment using three coupled cables. The unit is designed to prevent the ingress of moisture or dirt into the working parts. The control lever actuator has a ball shaped bearing that is retained by a bush that screws into a threaded section and provides secure retention. Pockets on the under side of the ball member provide a fixing point for the nipples of the three control cables. The cables are supported in guide sleeves that are held in a floating bush before passing to the control equipment. (DS).
