Automatic calendar movement - has chain moving in steps to make one revolution per year with month-end lever switch projections

The automatic calendar movement comprises an endless drive chain (1) with links which completes one full revolution in a year. At the month-ends, the chain is provided with a number of lever switching projections e.g. (44) or link gaps which are so arranged that the chain moves an equal number of steps in any complete month irrespective of the length of the month. The chain may move one link step or an integer fractional link step per day. It may actuate two switch levers e.g. which operate a double-pole switch at the month ends - for normal months and for February respectively.
