The tube or hose coupling is particularly intended for connecting a fuel dispensing gun (4) to its supply hose (3). It comprises two bushes (5,6) fixed to the hose and the dispenser (4) respectively which are rotatable one (5) within the other (6) and sealed by a resilient ring (7). The bushes are releasably located in axial direction relative to one another by balls (9) in a corresponding annular groove (8) or a spring ring. The annular gap (11) between the bushes lies downstream of the seal ring (7) and connects with the interior of the line via radial bores (10) in the inner bush (5) so that any particles resulting from wear are carried away from the seal ring.
