HEATING FURNACE FOR WASTE GAS DENOX OPERATION

PURPOSE:To enhance the mixing efficiency and to provide a compact combustion chamber by a method wherein the first, second, and third diluting gas injection openings each having different direction are installed on the peripheral surface of the combustion chamber so that swirling and turbulatnt flows are caused to the combusting and diluting gases. CONSTITUTION:Combusting gas is injected from the burner 12 into the cylindrical combustion chamber 11 in a heating furnace; diluting gas is injected from the first to third diluting-gas injection openings 14-16 installed at the end of diluting-gas pipe 19; both are mixed and discharged from the outlet 13. The first diluting-gas swirls with the combusting gas and both are mixed. The mixed gas collides with the diluting-gas injected toward the center from the second diluting-gas injectionopening 15; this causes a turbulant flow and results in a uniform mixing. This mixed gas is mixed while swiringly moving toward the outlet, by the action of the diluting- gas which has been injected from the third opening 16 and swirlingly moving toward the outlet. The mixed gas is then discharged from the outlet 13.
