<p>PURPOSE:To prevent securely a shift in position of a magnetic tape in the width direction with simple consitution by making the surface of a tape tension detecting piece that meets the magnetic tape into a convex surface that curves in the width direction of the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:Tape tension detecting piece 16 is fitted to one end of lever 17 rotatable on shaft 18 of the head panel. The surface of detecting piece 16 coming into contact with magnetic tape 19 is made into convex surface 16a that curves in the width direction of tape 19. For recording or reproduction, this detecting piece 16 is inserted into cassette 13 while pressing tape 19 inward. This constitution, even when tape 19 is wound around reels 7 and 8 nearly until its end and the tape tension increases suddenly, has not any width-directional vibration with tape 19 pressed against the center part most strongly because of convex surface 16a, permitting tape 19 to run stably all the time.</p> |
