<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a cassette transporting member from damaging by permitting a slide in the direction where the magnetic head of a subchassis is brought into contact with a magnetic tape in case that the member is not at the position where a cassette is mounted on a reel spindle. CONSTITUTION:Sub chassis 12 fitted with magnetic head 13, pinch roller 14, etc., is equipped with the safety method that permits magnetic head 13 to slide in the direction of contact with a magnetic tape in cassette 15 only when cassette transporting member 16 is at the position where cassette 15 is mounted on reel spindles 9 and 9', i.e. loaded in cassette loading part 8. Namely, hook member 75 is provided on chassis 7 at a position close to projecting edge part 74 of sub chassis 12 and this member 75 has hook end 75a hooked by projecting edge part 74 of sub chassis 12 via pin 76 and spring 77. When a slide of sub chassis 12 is inhibited because of the hooking of hook member 75, the slide of sliding member 65 is stopped halfway.</p> |
