PURPOSE:To make automatic equalization for the waveform due to the transmission band of optical fiber cable with very easy method, in the transmission of digital waveform in an optical fiber cable communication system. CONSTITUTION:An optical signal input is converted into electric signal at a converter 1, and after it is amplified 2, it is fed to an equalizer 3. The waveform distortion produced at the transmission band of optical fiber cable is corrected at the equalizer 3, the original digital waveform is reproduced at a DC reproduction circuit 4 and an identification reproduction circuit 5 and output 8. On the other hand, each output of the DC reproduction circuit 4 and the identification reproduction circuit 5 is partly branched to correct the waveform distortion produced due to the limit of transmission band, the average value is detected at average value detection circuits 6', 6, and the equalizer 3 is controlled to avoid the difference of the output. |
